    Description

    Very nice example of a mid- to late-Art Deco ring. Three Old Mine Cut diamonds are set in platinum. The ring is a classic with a shield design on both shoulders.
    Top of ring measures 6mm x 11mm. The shank tapers to 1mm in the back.
    Not marked but tested - there is an engraving “551” which may indicate the total carat weight. The three stones are eye clean; one looks like a replacement, although it’s not obvious. I like to point to any possible flaws. I estimate the total carat weight at approximately.45 - .15 each stone. Total weight of the ring is 2.66 grams.
