This toy cap gun set, lovingly referred to as the Little Tom, is an eight (8) shot ring cap toy cap gun.
This auction is for TWO toys, each individually boxed.
The guns are solid metal cap guns with a bright orange permanent tips for safety. The overall length is 8 inches. Load the caps by pressing the release button on the frame. The grips are black. This is a metal toy. Not plastic.
The real Little Tom is a semi-automatic pistol designed by Alois Tomischka from Czechoslovakia. It is considered as the first double action only semi-automatic pistol, produced until 1925 and 45,000 were made. Its strange feature was the top-loading magazine which could be inserted and released from the top.
