    William Wendle Gregory was born Mason City, Virginia on 23 June 1883. He attested at Valcartier on 21st Sept. 1914. He received a GSW (Gun-shot wound) to his chest on 2nd October 1918. He was awarded the Military Medal 9/11/1918 LG Ref. 31430. Convalesced in Edmonton and was discharged in Calgary in 1919.
