Description

This elegant piece is of Modernist dripware works is by Blue Mountain Pottery. Very unique piece look up what others have sold for.
The graceful piece bears Blue Mountain Pottery's well-known green and black glaze. The under-glaze is almost black but in the path of light, the black shines with an iridescent sheen of blues and purples. The green drip glaze flows downward, interspersed with white.
The variation in color and the effect of gravity on the glaze evokes imagery of the Boreal forests surrounding the Blue Mountains, which the glaze is said to be inspired by.

Excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs.
