    Description

    Up for auction a sweet little redware duckling figurine created by Blue Mountain Pottery in Ontario.  Blue Mountain Pottery was founded in the early 1950s, and due to rising production costs, closed completely in 2005. The unique glaze, melded from two different colors and finished with a mirror shine, is one of the most identifiable aspects of Blue Mountain Pottery.
    The duckling measures 5 3/8" high, 3 5/8" long, 2 1/4" wide and weighs 7.6 ounces prior to packing for shipping.
    This piece is in good used condition without cracks or repairs.  There is a small flake on the right wing top, crazing and small scratches.
