ABOUT:
Pretty antique split shank garnet ring in 10k rosy gold with two rose cut garnets prong set with four pearls, two on each side set at an angle.  Ribbed shoulders.  Such a lovely antique piece from the Art Nouveau to Victorian period.
The dealer I bought it from told me it is 10k gold, not gold filled or gold plated so it won't flake away or show underlying metal over time like antique gold fill would.  It tested at 10k for me as well.  Garnet also tested accurately as such on my Presidium gem tester.
Dainty and beautiful piece with nice detail, the perfect stacker.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Currently a size 6, or just over but not quite to 6 1/4. Each garnet is about 3mm in diameter.
HALLMARKS:
No stamps remain but verified 10k gold.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Age appropriate wear for this estate piece.  No cracks to the stones.  A few tiny scratches on some of the facets of the garnet visible only with strong magnification, not seen with the naked eye, but I tried to show it really zoomed in in the photos.
Some surface wear and scratches to the gold from wear over the years, but the etched detail on the shoulders is still very crisp and lovely.
Like all antique jewelry, please handle these rings with care.  I don't see any drastic issues, but I just always recommend gentle wear on these very old pieces. : )
